Québec City, more connected to the American tourism market than ever

Québec City, April 16th, 2024 – Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB) and Destination Québec cité are thrilled to announce a new direct route with American Airlines. Starting on August 10th, 2024, the world’s largest airline will connect YQB to Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) in North Carolina, with one direct flight a week on Saturdays until November 2nd, 2024.

Aéroport de Québec inc. hereby gives notice that the Annual Public Meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at 9:30 a.m., by videoconference or in person at Complexe des services combinés, located at 900, 9 e Rue de l’Aéroport, Québec (Québec) G2G 0K9. Please signify your interest in attending by filling the registration form. You will receive instructions on how to join 48 hours prior to the meeting.  

Porter to launch new Toronto Pearson - Québec City route this May

TORONTO / February 22, 2024 - Porter Airlines is launching daily, round-trip service between Toronto-Pearson International Airport (YYZ) and Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB) starting May 17. Initially planned as a seasonal addition to Porter’s schedule, the new route is set to run until October 26.

First Flight from Korea Lands in Québec City

Québec City, September 27, 2023 – Today, Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB) and Destination Québec cité (DQc) welcomed the first Korean tourists visiting Québec City as part of a new partnership with Korean tour operator Hanjin Travel Co., Ltd., which was announced last May. Four direct flights from Seoul’s Incheon International Airport will be landing at YQB in the coming weeks. As a result, the greater Québec City area will benefit from hosting almost a thousand additional Korean tourists this autumn.

Roadwork Notice – Route de l’Aéroport Closure

Night work will be carried out by Transports Québec on route de l'Aéroport in the coming weeks. Detours will be in place to access the airport site between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. from Sunday, July 9, 2023. Traffic on route de l'Aéroport will possibly alternate during the day. If you are going to YQB during the road closure, plan more time for your trip.
