Travelling with animals

It's possible to fly with your pet. However, you must take certain precautions before booking your flight and contact your airline for information about their policy on travelling pets.

You should know that your animal will be subject to a search, and will be required to be transported in an appropriate cage.

For more details, contact your airline or consult the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA) website.

Animal relief areas

Service animals are permitted inside Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport. An outdoor animal relief area for these animals is located near the exit of the arrival area for domestic flights.

An indoor animal relief area is also available for service animals and is located after the security checkpoint, near departure gate 29 (See Terminal map).
