Travel for passengers during curfew

For passengers, travel to or from airports is therefore authorized during curfew hours. Please have your travel documents such as your plane ticket on hand to justify your travel during a police check.

New entry requirements to Canada

January 6, 2021 - New pre-departure COVID-19 testing requirements come into effect for all air travellers flying into Canada

Effective midnight on January 7, 2021 (00:00 EST or 05:00 UCT), the Government of Canada requires all travellers five years of age or older, regardless of citizenship, provide proof of a negative laboratory test result for COVID-19 to the airline prior to boarding a flight to Canada.

YQB Maintains Airport Fee Freeze

PUBLIC NOTICE Québec City, November 7, 2020 – For the fourth consecutive year, Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB) will not be increasing its airport improvement fees or general aviation fees in 2021, even though the airport has been hit hard by the global COVID-19 pandemic. Parking fees will also remain unchanged.
Temperature screening by CATSA

Starting September 23, 2020 at 8 a.m., the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA) will begin its activities of temperature screenings of passengers and employees at its screening checkpoints at Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB).

YQB Diversifies its Parking Options

Québec City, June 22, 2020 – 2019 was a pivotal year for Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB). It celebrated an 18th consecutive year of growth, a new record of 1,789,005 passengers, a significant improvement in its air service, a change in senior management, a markedly more agile organizational structure, and a new strategic plan focused on diversifying revenue streams. Not to mention the largest construction project in the airport’s history, which was successfully completed on time and on budget.

YQB hosts a drive-in movie theatre!

Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB) will be hosting a drive-in movie theatre this summer in partnership with the Ville de Québec and the Festival de cinéma de la ville de Québec (FCVQ). The event starts July 2, 2020.
