Air Canada Rouge to provide service between Québec City and Toronto starting July 1, 2018

Québec City, February 15, 2018 – Air Canada has confirmed that its subsidiary Rouge will take over service between Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB) and Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ). The current fleet of 74-seat Bombardier Q-400s will be replaced by 136-seat Airbus 319 and 200-seat Airbus 321 jets. Rouge will operate five daily flights to Toronto Pearson International Airport.
Québec City, February 6, 2018 - 2017 ended with strong growth for Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB). The number of passengers traveling through the airport increased 3.4% over the previous year, peaking at 1,670,880, an increase of 55,000 people, despite repairs to the main runway that limited access for large aircraft from May 23 to August 9, 2017.
