ANNUAL PUBLIC MEETING AÉROPORT DE QUÉBEC CONTINUES ITS GROWTH
Québec City, April 30, 2010 – Despite the challenges posed by the world economic situation, Aéroport de Québec continued to grow and develop in 2009. Although there was a slowdown in domestic traffic, the exceptional growth in transborder and international traffic allowed the organization to attain a historic high of 1,035,000 passengers, added on to a marked increase in available services, flights, and destinations.
Montreal, April 28, 2009 – As a result of the World Health Organization’s decision to raise the level of the swine flu alert to Phase 4, and following directives issued by governments because of the appearance of swine flu in several countries, Transat A.T. Inc. is postponing its flights from Canada to Mexico until June 1 inclusive, and from France to Mexico until May 31 inclusive. This decision applies to flights operated by Air Transat or other carriers.
Quebec City, September 24, 2009 – The good news just keeps on coming at Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport, where Porter Airlines has announced it will add flights to better meet the needs of local travelers and business people. Starting November 26, the carrier will build on the success it enjoyed over the past two summer seasons by offering three daily flights year round to downtown Toronto.
Quebec, September 17th 2009 – Starting next November, Air Canada Jazz will operate the Quebec-Toronto corridor with 75 seats CRJ705. This aircraft have a 10 business class seats configuration.
