Frequently asked questions
Yes, you can bring food and drinks onto the plane.
Please note: you cannot bring more than 100 ml of liquids, gels, or aerosols through the security checkpoint. However, once you have passed through the checkpoint, you will be able to buy a drink or fill a water bottle, then bring it on the plane.
Some items are exempt from the 100 ml or 100 g (3.4 oz) limit, though you will need to report them to the security officer for inspection. Please refer to the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA) list of exempted items for more information.
If you are flying internationally, please be aware that different countries have different rules for bringing food across the border. You may need to throw some foods away when you land if you did not eat them on your flight.
