Temperature screening by CATSA

22 sep

Starting September 23, 2020 at 8 a.m., the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA) will begin its activities of temperature screenings of passengers and employees at its screening checkpoints at Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB).

To limit the spread of COVID 19, CATSA is required by the Aeronautics Act to verify that the temperature of passengers and non-passengers is below a specified reading before allowing access to the screening checkpoint. Their temperature will be taken with a temperature scanning camera and/or a contactless, hand-held thermometer.
