November 18, 2014– Travellers from Québec City and outlying regions will once again be able to take advantage of even more flights out of Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB) during the 2014-2015 winter season. Indeed, several new flights have been announced.
Sunwing will offer a direct flight to Panama every Friday from December 12 2014 until April 24, 2015. The weekly flight will bring passengers to the Playa Blanca airport, near all the major hotels.
Air Transat will travel to Mexico’s West coast, to Puerto Vallarta, every Thursday from December 18, 2014 until March 12, 2015. New this year, all Transat flights from Québec City will be operated exclusively by Air Transat aircraft.
Also, new this year, Celebrity Cruises will offer all-inclusive packages from Québec City: a 7-day cruise in the Caribbean from the port of Miami on board the luxurious Celebrity Reflection as well as direct flights from Québec City to Miami, chartered by Celebrity Cruises. These packages include transfers between the airport and the port, meals, alcoholic beverages, gratuities and taxes. Departures will be Saturdays from February 7 until April 4 inclusively.
Consequently, travellers can benefit from more than 45 direct flights every week in the 2014-2015 season :
- Cuba (Cayo Coco, Cayo Santa Maria, Holguin and Varadero)
- Florida (Fort Lauderdale, Miami and Orlando)
- Jamaica (Montego Bay)
- Mexico (Cancun/Riviera Maya and Puerto Vallarta)
- Panama (Panama City)
- Dominican Republic (Puerto Plata, Punta Cana and Samana)
