Transat A.T. Inc. postpones its flights to Mexico until June 1 and brings back its customers and employees

Montreal, April 28, 2009 – As a result of the World Health Organization’s decision to raise the level of the swine flu alert to Phase 4, and following directives issued by governments because of the appearance of swine flu in several countries, Transat A.T. Inc. is postponing its flights from Canada to Mexico until June 1 inclusive, and from France to Mexico until May 31 inclusive. This decision applies to flights operated by Air Transat or other carriers.

Porter Airlines adds capacity in Quebec City : Three daily flights to downtown Toronto

United adds a second flight from Quebec city to Chicago

Québec City, Thursday, March 12, 2009 – United Airlines announced today that a second daily flight will be added between the Old City and the Windy City as a result of the very positive response to the current daily flight to Chicago.

The additional flight will operate from June 4 to October 25 using a 50-seat CRJ. Flights to Chicago will depart Quebec City at 8:15 a.m. and 4:56 p.m. and flights back to Quebec City will depart Chicago O’Hare at 12:58 p.m. and 6:15 p.m.

Delta Air Lines Re-brands Northwest’s Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport Facilities

Quebec – February 17th – Delta Air Lines’ (NYSE: DAL) name and logo will become part of Quebec City Jean Lesage International Airport beginning Feb. 17 as the airline integrates its operations with Northwest following their merger in October of last year.

Quebec City is among the more than 200 airports worldwide – six of them in Cananda- where Delta is brandind counters, gates, kiosks and signage following the merger that made the airline the world’s largest.

CALGARY, Alberta. May 17, 2008. WestJet today announced the addition of a second daily non-stop flight between Quebec City and Toronto. Support for this destination has been very strong and the addition of a second daily flight will enable guests to access new markets, particularly sun destinations for winter travellers. Starting May 17, 2008, WestJet will operate one daily flight between Quebec City and Toronto and starting November 2, 2008, it will increase to two flights daily.
