Québec City, July 15, 2020 – Starting September 15, 2020, passengers at Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB) will enjoy even better parking options. The airport is changing its parking rates in response to passengers’ requests for competitively priced long-term parking.
“Parking is a factor in people’s choice of departing airport. At YQB, we want it to become an attractive factor, something that works in our favour,” stated Yanic Roy, Vice President – Development.
Significantly lower rates for long-term parking
Based on the findings of a market study, the airport has adjusted all of its parking rates to make long-term parking in the outdoor lot next to the airport more appealing. The fixed daily rate for outdoor parking has been replaced by one that favours longer-term parking. For instance, someone who parks at YQB for 7 days will save $27.50 compared to before.
Short-term and parking garage rates have also been increased to reflect market realities, seasonal usage, and overall usage data.

“What our customers want is the ability to park at the airport for a week or two at a good price. We’re fortunate to have an outdoor parking lot within walking distance of the terminal building. That’s rare in our industry. We’re proud to be able to give our passengers this choice, and at a competitive rate that’s comparable to what you can find elsewhere,” finished Mr. Roy.
Reminder: all parking is free until August 1, 2020.
