Frequently asked questions

Airline check-in counter hours vary and are subject to change at any time.

The counters generally open at the following times:

Air Canada: two hours before the scheduled departure time

Air France: three hours before the scheduled departure time

Air Inuit: one and a half hours before the scheduled departure time

Air Transat: four hours before the scheduled departure time

American Airlines: two hours before the scheduled departure time

PAL Airlines: two hours before the scheduled departure time

Pascan: one and a half hours before the scheduled departure time

Porter: two hours before the scheduled departure time

Sunwing: three hours before the scheduled departure time

United Airlines: two hours before the scheduled departure time

WestJet: two hours before the scheduled departure time

Please note that airlines generally close their counters at least one hour before departure time.

If the airline check-in counter is closed, it means that check-in has not started yet or that check-in has finished. If counter check-in has closed, you will not be able to check in any bags.

If you don’t have any baggage to check, you can try checking in at one of the self-service kiosks in front of the check-in counters. If that doesn’t work, it is too late to check in for your flight. You will need to contact your airline’s customer service department to plan another flight or route.

The check-in counters are on level 1 of the terminal (see on map).
