Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA)

In an effort to ensure that airport safety standards are maintained and respected, Aéroport de Québec has worked closely with the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA) since its creation on a number of projects, such as developing operational space and installing specialized equipment to increase passenger security.

CATSA is a crown corporation that has been operating since April 1, 2002. It provides consistent and effective screening services across Canadian airports, including Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport.

Aéroport de Québec inc. is committed to maintaining high security standards everywhere in the airport. To this end, we keep up-to-date on safety measures, ensure that regulations are respected, and support CATSA (e.g., implementation of explosive detection systems).

Also, Aéroport de Québec works closely with CATSA in the area of customer service to ensure quality services and provide travelers with an enjoyable airport experience.
