style="text-align: right;">FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

QUÉBEC CITY JEAN LESAGE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT ANNUAL PUBLIC MEETING
PURSUING OUR ACSENCION TOWARDS NEW HEIGHTS

March 23, 2011 – The Chair of the Board of the Québec City Airport, Mr. Guy Vachon, and the President and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Gaëtan Gagné, presented the Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport’s Annual Report today, at the annual public meeting.

The 2010 Annual Report, entitled “Ascension 2010”, clearly shows that Aéroport de Québec inc. is continuing to climb to new heights, especially in the number of passengers, with increases of 24.1% in transborder traffic, 17.2% for domestic traffic and 5.1% in international traffic for a total increase in traffic of 15%. Also, a new historic height was reached as 1, 190,088 passengers travelled through the Québec City Airport. ”These statistics clearly show all the dynamism of our airport and the essential role we play as an economic lever in the Québec City region”, said Gaëtan Gagné.

Mr. Gagné also took the opportunity to point out the importance of providing adequate facilities at the airport which will allow for new development and thus reach new, realistic goals, set out by Arup in the 2010-2035 Master Plan.

“The first phase of the expansion was a great success since we saw a 52% increase in passenger traffic in the last four years. We all know that we have great developmental potential and we have several projects on the table. With the $50 million announcement by the Federal Government last week, along with an equal investment we are confident the Provincial Government will provide, we will be able to begin the first part of the second phase of expansion very soon”, said Mr. Gagné.

Financial Results Beyond Expectations

2010 was also a very successful year financially as revenues rose to $35.6 million. Strict control of administrative and operation costs played a large part in allowing for a gross operating profit of $14.37 million and a $6.9 million surplus, which is $3.4 million above the 2010 estimate.

“We are extremely proud of our financial results for 2010. They prove that the efforts made in our planning as well as our strict follow-up gave positive results. These results, above and beyond our expectations, will allow us to reinvest a significant surplus in our development projects”, said Mr. Guy Vachon.

Mr. Vachon also pointed out that the administrative structure changes, begun in 2009, were finalized in 2010. Thus, the Québec City Airport is ready to take up the challenges of increasing passenger traffic as well as bring all new projects to fruition.

Since November 1, 2000, the Québec City Airport has been responsible for the management, operation, maintenance and development of the Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport. style="text-align: right;">FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Federal government announces $50 million investment

QUÉBEC CITY AIRPORT: AMBITIOUS PROJECTS TO PURSUE OUR ASCENSION

March 16, 2011 – The President and CEO of Aéroport de Québec inc., Mr. Gaëtan Gagné is very pleased with the announcement today of a $50 million investment by Canada’s Prime Minister, the Right Honourable Stephen Harper, who was accompanied by the Honourable Josée Verner, Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs, President of the Queen’s Privy Council for Canada and Minister for La Francophonie.

« The Québec City Airport has seen significant growth and our potential for future development is tremendous. In order to fully develop this potential, we must create conditions to accommodate this exceptional passenger growth. If the trend continues, the number of passengers in 2015 will be 1.5 million and over 2 million in 2020. The Québec City Airport needs the infrastructure and efficient airport services to meet the demand,” said Gaëtan Gagné, President and CEO.

Stimulating Developmental Projects

The Federal government’s investment announcement today opens the door to the first stage of the second phase of the Québec City Jean Lesage Airport’s expansion project. Totalling $225 million and planned until 2015-2016, this stage includes, more particularly, the expansion of the international sector, including relocations which will allow for the expansion of the apron, the addition of passenger loading bridges, the construction of a multi-level parking facility and a hotel as well as a de-icing center. The Québec City Airport plans to meet the extraordinary growth demand by developing its potential and thus remain one of the region’s major economic levers.

The Québec City Airport plans to actively participate in the financing of these projects by assuming most of the related costs.

Over the past four years, the Québec City Airport has seen a dramatic increase in traffic of 52%. In 2010, 1,200,000 passengers travelled from the airport, an increase of 15%. Since the beginning of the year, this growth has continued with a 19% increase in passengers.

The Québec City Airport has become, over the past years, a source of pride for the citizens of the region. I would like to thank the Federal Government for having, once again, recognized the essential role we play in the region’s economic development”, said Gaëtan Gagné.

Since November 1, 2000, the Québec City Airport has been responsible for the management, operation, maintenance and development of the Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport. /> For immediate release

ANNUAL PUBLIC MEETING AÉROPORT DE QUÉBEC CONTINUES ITS GROWTH

Québec City, April 30, 2010 – Despite the challenges posed by the world economic situation, Aéroport de Québec continued to grow and develop in 2009. Although there was a slowdown in domestic traffic, the exceptional growth in transborder and international traffic allowed the organization to attain a historic high of 1,035,000 passengers, added on to a marked increase in available services, flights, and destinations.

“These team successes stem first and foremost from the trust an increasing number of passengers are placing in us, and we’d like to thank them once again for this trust,” said Guy Vachon, Chair of the Board. “The 2009 annual report shows our development efforts once again bearing fruit, enabling us to meet ever higher expectations. Our modern, efficient, cutting-edge facilities also help attract and retain carriers and are undoubtedly a big part of the story. More than ever, Jean Lesage International Airport has become a major gateway and a center of vitality and growth.

Another year of growth

Despite the world economic crisis that hit the airline industry hard, Aéroport de Québec in 2009 experienced an increase of 1.2% in traffic and 14% in revenues across the board.

This overall performance led to an excess of proceeds over expenses of $4,328,171, compared to $9,589,317 in 2008. These results are particularly remarkable in that Aéroport de Québec experienced for example a 19% increase in operating costs, a 26% increase in payroll, and a 76% increase in payments in lieu of taxes.

The growth in traffic was particularly sustained for transborder and international flights, which experienced increases of 14.5% and 20.3% respectively. This remarkable performance was due to such factors as new connections, including daily United Airlines flights to Chicago, six new weekly southbound connections added by Sunwing, Transat, and Canjet, three new Porter Airlines flights to downtown Toronto, and Transat’s new connections to Bordeaux and Marseille. Just recently, United Airlines announced a daily flight to Washington beginning June 10, 2010. Since 2006, international traffic has more than doubled, while transborder traffic continues its recent surge with an increase of 33%—results that mirror constant increases in available services.

“Our success reflects the dedication, professionalism, and thoroughness of our team shown every day in the promise of a very special airport experience,” said President and CEO Gaëtan Gagné. “Over the next few years, we must continue our efforts in order to deal with increasing traffic and satisfy ever-higher expectations. If current trends continue, we should reach 1.5 million passengers in 2015 and close to 2 million in 2020. It all shows the importance for Aéroport de Québec of getting started with the next investment phase, giving our organization the tools it needs to continue to develop and remain an economic engine for the area.” Since November 1, 2000, Aéroport de Québec Inc. has overseen the management, operation, maintenance, and development of Jean Lesage International Airport. More than a dozen airlines operate out of the airport, servicing multiple destinations in North America, the Caribbean, Mexico, and Europe through more than 50 daily direct flights to Eastern Canada and the United States’ biggest gateways, including Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, New York, Detroit, Cleveland, Washington and Chicago. An additional 45 chartered flights also depart the airport each week in winter, carrying passengers to sunshine destinations, as well as Paris, Bordeaux, Marseille, and Nantes.
<p
