Environmental Policy

In an effort to fulfill its social responsibilities, protect the environment and respect available resources, Aéroport de Québec is committed to sustainable development and makes it a key component of its activities.

Environment Committee

Committee’s Mandate

  • To ensure that the environmental management system is implemented and maintained according to the airport’s environment policy and the environmental management guidebook.
  • To review the environmental management system with the Board of Directors once a year and amend/improve it as needed.
  • To submit an annual environmental management program (projects) to the Board of Directors.
  • To ensure that the management system is audited once a year and to present the results to the Board of Directors.
  • To report on environmental issues at each meeting of the Board of Directors.

Committee Membership

3 members of the Board of Directors, including the chairman Mr. Gaëtan Gagné;
2 members of the management team, including the Director of Operations Mr. Jimmy Gagné and the Officer Environment and Project Coordinator Operations Ms. Geneviève Desroches.

 

Noise Management Committee

Committee’s Mandate

To evaluate the various aspects of aircraft noise management, from complaints to new environmental requirements as well as any other related matter; to evaluate problems and submit recommendations to Aéroport de Québec inc.
